Soccer Game Preview: Greendale vs. Franklin

The Greendale Panthers will challenge the Franklin Sabers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Greendale is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering New Berlin Eisenhower just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Lions. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Greendale couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Franklin kept a clean sheet against Kenosha Tremper on Tuesday. They blew past the Trojans 4-0. Franklin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Kenosha Tremper with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dusan Novakovich, Nikita Athens, Colby Kamlay, and Andrew Bergdolt.

Franklin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matches. As for Greendale, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
