Recap: Clewiston Tigers vs. Glades Central Raiders
The Clewiston Tigers suffered their closest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They fell just short of Glades Central by a score of 29-26. Clewiston was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Glades Central apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Clewiston's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Milan Holomes, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Tyra Fields who scored two points along with 16 rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holomes has scored all season.
Clewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Glades Central, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clewiston will take on Sebring at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Sebring is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Glades Central, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Pahokee at 7:30 p.m.
