Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centaurus). They never let the Northglenn Norsemen get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory on Saturday. The Warriors not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21, 2024.
Carter Nelson was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
In other batting news, Charlie Manning was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
