Baseball Game Preview: Harlan Cyclones vs. Clarke Indians

The Harlan Cyclones will head out on the road to square off against the Clarke Indians on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Harlan made easy work of Atlantic and carried off a 7-1 victory. The Cyclones might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Clarke hadn't done well against Creston recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Indians came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 6-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Harlan has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Clarke, their win bumped their record up to 11-22.
