Tonasket came tearing into  Saturday's  game with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Okanogan Bulldogs as they made off with  a  14-7 win. Considering the Tigers have won 11 matchups by more than five  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Katlynn Gibbons made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk). Gibbons was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That  triple was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Rylee Michels, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Baylee Taber, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
Tonasket pushed their record up to 12-1 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 21.3 runs over those games. As for Okanogan,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tonasket will square off against Bridgeport at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.42  runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Okanogan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Roosevelt  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
