The Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech MUSTANGS will challenge the Overbrook Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Overbrook will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday. The MUSTANGS blew past Hill Freedman World Academy 23-9. Considering the MUSTANGS have won four games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tae-Marr Tubbs was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Quadire Hamtpon-Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.

Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Overbrook, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against High School of the Future on Monday as they made off with a 10-4 win. The Panthers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 28, 2025 (when they won 15-4).

Overbrook's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6-1. As for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
