Softball Recap: La Crosse Logan Victorious

La Crosse Logan won the last time they faced Black River Falls and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rangers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 12-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

Kenna Streeck and Maria Weber did most of the damage at the plate: Streeck went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Weber went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. Weber continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Norah Reineking also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

La Crosse Logan's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Black River Falls, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Crosse Logan will venture away from home to face off against Holmen at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Black River Falls, they will head out to take on Westby at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
