Softball Recap: Nevada Union Takes a Loss

Nevada Union extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-16-1 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Miners have suffered since March 27th.

As for Twelve Bridges, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games.

For Twelve Bridges' part, the team relied heavily on Lucia Cantarhina, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four runs gave Cantarhina a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Story, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.
