On Saturday, Cody faced Lyman in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Cody Broncs enjoyed a cozy 65-49 victory over the Lyman Eagles. The win was nothing new for the Broncs as they're now sitting on eight straight.

When it comes to explaining why Lyman lost, don't look at Owen Hansen. Despite the final result, she went 8 for 11 on her way to 21 points. Those 21 points gave Hansen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna France, who posted six points.

Cody's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. As for Lyman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Cody has already played their next match (against Mountain View), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Lyman, they are taking a road trip to face off against Pinedale at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
