Soccer Recap: Northwestern Falls to Myrtle Beach in First Game of Season

Northwestern unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

The victory got Myrtle Beach back to even at 1-1.

Northwestern wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Clover on the 22nd. As for Myrtle Beach, they will take on Dutch Fork in a tournament on Sunday.
