             Waverly is 7-0 against Piketon since October of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Waverly Tigers will challenge the Piketon Redstreaks at 6:00  p.m. Waverly is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.
 Waverly is headed in fresh off scoring the most  goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Northwest with a sharp  6-0 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shutout in their previous   contest.
 They hit Northwest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Rachel Remy (3), 
 Leah Walters (2), and 
 Hayden Jones.
 Meanwhile, Piketon has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 17. They came up short against  Unioto on Monday, falling  14-1.
 Waverly's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-6. As for Piketon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
 Everything went Waverly's way against Piketon in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023 as Waverly made off with  a  5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Waverly since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
