Rock Falls has gone 8-2 against Winnebago recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rockets will challenge the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Rock Falls has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rock Falls' offense. They lost 18-0 to North Boone on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Dakota typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Winnebago proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past Dakota 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for Winnebago.

The team relied heavily on Sammi Falnes, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenize Makosh, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Winnebago kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Winnebago's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Rock Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 10-20.

Rock Falls came out on top in a nail-biter against Winnebago in their previous matchup back in April, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
