Softball Recap: Summit Falls to Nolensville in First Game of Season

Summit kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Nolensville Knights by a score of 6-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Addyson Willingham made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Paityn Robertson, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summit will venture away from home to face off against Brentwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nolensville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Independence at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
