Baseball Recap: Yorktown Comes Up Short

Yorktown fell victim to Delta and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Yorktown got a good showing from Brody Foltz, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits Foltz has allowed over his last five contests.

On the hitting side, Yorktown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Loveall, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Yorktown now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Delta, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-7.
