Baseball Recap: Alameda Takes a Loss

Alameda suffered their closest defeat since April 2, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Castro Valley Trojans by a score of 10-8. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Alameda's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Castro Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Alameda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Castro Valley, they will be playing at home against Berkeley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
