Basketball Recap: Elsie Allen Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Elsie Allen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the San Marin Mustangs 89-20. The Lobos were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-11.

Joey Engler had an outrageously good game for San Marin as he shot 75% from the field en route to 15 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Engler a new career-high. Ryan Houlahan was another key player, putting up six points along with seven steals and six assists.

Elsie Allen's loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elsie Allen will venture away from home to square off against Analy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for San Marin, they will head out to challenge Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
