Softball Game Preview: Leland Cubs vs. Palmer Dragons

The Leland Cubs will face off against the Palmer Dragons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Thursday, Leland got the win against North Side by a conclusive 19-7. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 12 runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Palmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Charleston, falling 32-13. On the bright side, the 13- run performance marked the Dragons' highest-scoring game to date.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Leland, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
