Volleyball Recap: Corinth Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Booneville, Corinth was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Biggersville Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Corinth's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Biggersville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Corinth will welcome Alcorn Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Biggersville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Myrtle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
