Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbia). They came out on top against the Branford Buccaneers by a score of 14-10 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Harleigh Price made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Kimber Long was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five RBI and two runs. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Luisa Taylor was another key player, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4.
