Basketball Recap: Shyla Simms' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Grimsley over Northern Guilford

Grimsley was the 50-43 winner over Northern Guilford when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Grimsley Whirlies lost to the Northern Guilford Nighthawks on the road by a 52-37 margin on Friday.

Grimsley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Shyla Simms, who posted 14 points and three steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Alyssa Graves was another key player, putting up five points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
