Football Recap: Trinity Collegiate Titans vs. First Baptist School Hurricanes        
        
		
             Trinity Collegiate pushed their score to 51 the last time they played First Baptist School, but  on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The Trinity Collegiate Titans' defense stepped up to hand the First Baptist School Hurricanes  a   6-0 shutout. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Titans as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 One reason for the win was Trinity Collegiate's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for ten sacks. It was truly a group effort as  James Herbert,  Caden Hodge, and  Owen Bex picked up two apiece. With that strong performance,  Bex is now averaging an impressive 6  total tackles per game.
 Trinity Collegiate's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for First Baptist School, their defeat was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Trinity Collegiate will head out to  challenge Dillon Christian  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both  are at an even 3-3 against one another  since October of 2014, but likely not for long. As for First Baptist School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on John Paul II at 7:30  p.m.  on October 4th.
