Clover took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Fort Mill, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Clover came out on top in a nail-biter against Fort Mill on Friday, sneaking past 5-3. While the Blue Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Christian Soder looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.
