Basketball Recap: Faith Academy Charter Takes a Loss

Faith Academy Charter played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 72-36 loss at the hands of the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Faith Academy Charter's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Morris, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Nick Franks, who had five points and six assists.

Faith Academy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Faith Academy Charter will face off against Arborbrook Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 74.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they will square off against Charlotte Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
