Monmouth Academy strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Oak Hill Raiders with a sharp 13-6 win. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Monmouth Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Oak Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Monmouth Academy will take on Mountain Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Hill, they will challenge Winthrop at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders are facing the Ramblers at the right time seeing as the Ramblers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
