Softball Recap: Bridgeland Comes Up Short

Bridgeland came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-1 to the Langham Creek Lobos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lobos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in February.

Gabby Gray made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Bridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Langham Creek, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

Bridgeland has already played their next game, a 16-0 win against Cypress Springs on the 1st. As for Langham Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 victory against Cypress Woods on the 1st.
