Basketball Game Preview: Union Bears vs. Grundy Golden Wave

The Union Bears will start their season against the Grundy Golden Wave. Tip off is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Thursday, Grundy didn't have quite enough to beat Richlands and fell 51-48. The matchup marked the Golden Wave's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

As for Union, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (17-11), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.
