While Waunakee's victory against Vel Phillips Memorial wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors won by a goal and slipped past the Spartans 2-1. The win was nothing new for Waunakee as they're now sitting on six straight.

Waunakee pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Vel Phillips Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 0-6-3 record this season.
