Volleyball Recap: Del Valle Conquistadores vs. Bel Air Highlanders
Del Valle had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 16-10 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Bel Air Highlanders as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Conquistadores not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 12th (when they won 3-0).

Del Valle found their leader in sophomore Shelby Watkins, who had 17 digs and four aces. Those 17 digs set a new season-high mark for Watkins. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Chavez, who had ten digs and ten assists.
Del Valle was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bel Air only served four aces.
