Basketball Recap: Western Alamance Warriors vs. Southeast Alamance Stallions

After flying high against Southern Alamance last Wednesday, Western Alamance came back down to earth. The Western Alamance Warriors took a hard 63-45 fall against the Southeast Alamance Stallions on Saturday. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 76-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southeast Alamance got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was James Kenan out in front who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points along with six boards and three steals. Kenan has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Donnie Fairley was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Western Alamance has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Southeast Alamance, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.

Western Alamance has already played their next match, a 59-54 victory against Williams on the 4th. As for Southeast Alamance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-39 win against Bartlett Yancey on the 4th.
