Shelby put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 two weeks ago.

Alyvia Berkowitz and Stella Martin scored both of Shelby's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Shelby's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-0. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shelby will take on East Rutherford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, they will face off against Cherryville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will be up against Cherryville's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
