Walker posted their closest victory since October 1, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Dalton Catamounts. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Catamounts, too.

Annabelle Rosen paced Walker's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rosen got some help from Samantha Baty and her 25 assists. Baty was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Walker's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Dalton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Walker has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Columbus on the 16th. As for Dalton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Druid Hills on the 16th.
