Basketball Recap: Juan Diego Catholic Takes a Loss

Juan Diego Catholic suffered their closest defeat since December 30, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Murray Spartans by a score of 40-37. The Soaring Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Murray was led to victory by Grace Taeoalii and Brooklyn Richter. Taeoalii dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds, while Richter posted seven points along with seven boards and three steals. That's the most steals Richter has posted since back in January.

Juan Diego Catholic now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Murray, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Juan Diego Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Murray, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-49 victory against Granger on the 17th.
