Volleyball Recap: Calloway County Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Calloway County's win against Murray wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lakers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Tigers on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lakers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Calloway County's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Murray, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Calloway County is set to face off against their familiar foe Marshall County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Murray will square off against rival Christian Fellowship at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
