Mascoutah waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Rochester Rockets get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

Mascoutah pushed their record up to 21-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Rochester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-11-1.

Looking ahead, Mascoutah is taking a road trip to challenge Herrin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rochester, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Triad at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
