Basketball Recap: Paradise Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Paradise had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 45-44 win over the Anderson Cubs. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 64-37 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Anderson lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ryson Burks, who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Safford, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Paradise didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-46 loss against Gridley on the 5th. As for Anderson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-49 defeat against Corning on the 5th.
