Volleyball Recap: Grove City Christian Eagles vs. Fisher Catholic Irish

After flying high against Bishop Rosecrans last Tuesday, Grove City Christian came back down to earth. The Grove City Christian Eagles fell 3-1 to the Fisher Catholic Irish on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

The final score came out to 25-22, 14-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Grove City Christian saw an underclassman step up: Axia Yoakum had nine digs and eight aces. Those eight aces set a new season-high mark for Yoakum.
