Skyview faced Borah in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Hawks put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp  3-0 victory. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  win against them.
 One reason for the win was Skyview's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12,  25-6.
Among those leading the charge was   Lizzy Bower, who  had seven  digs and two  assists.  Janessa Pridgen also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
 Skyview  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in three consecutive  matchups.
Skyview's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Borah, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Skyview is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Ridgevue  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Borah will  take on  rival Owyhee  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
