Softball Recap: Spain Park Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Spain Park extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 21-14. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pell City Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 back in February.

As for Pell City, their loss dropped their record down to 22-15-2. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Pell City's part, Ally Mosley spent all 9.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, Kherington Keith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spain Park will welcome Hoover at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bucs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
