Softball Recap: South Takes a Loss

South managed to slip by Torrance the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans lost 16-2 to the Tartars on Monday. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tartars earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Isabella Cacatian was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

South now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Torrance, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

South has already played their next contest, a 16-15 win against Banning on the 7th. Torrance does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
