North Sand Mountain won the last time they faced Ider and things went their way on Friday too. The Bison breezed past the Hornets to the tune of 43-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bison.

One reason for the win was North Sand Mountain's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Wyatt Starkey, Korbin Arnold, and Jaxyn Lankster, who each picked up one sack apiece. North Sand Mountain got some further help from Starkey: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.

North Sand Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ider, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

North Sand Mountain and Ider will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bison will take on rival Sand Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ider is set to face off against their familiar foe Woodville at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
