Football Recap: Oxbridge Academy Comes Up Short

Oxbridge Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-10. They lost 29-6 to the Olympic Heights Lions. The ThunderWolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

As for Olympic Heights, they now have a winning record of 5-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Olympic Heights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Stephen Yiadom out in front who rushed for 99 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

Oxbridge Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-56 loss against Canterbury on the 30th. As for Olympic Heights, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-0 defeat against Archbishop Carroll on the 30th.
