Friday just wasn't the day for Branford's offense. They came up short against the Santa Fe Raiders on Friday, falling 6-0. The Buccaneers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Branford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harleigh Price, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Branford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Santa Fe, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Branford will head out on the road to challenge Eustis at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Buccaneers 4.1, the Panthers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Santa Fe, they will host Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
