New Smyrna Beach took down Seminole on Wednesday, a win that might not have happened without Rocco Giordano's standout performance. Giordano turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out ten over seven innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Giordano and New Smyrna Beach will face off against Taylor at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Giordano has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 0.2 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Wildcats have only allowed nine per game this season.
