Basketball Recap: River Falls Comes Up Short

River Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 73-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Paul Central Minutemen. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

River Falls now has a losing record of 10-11. As for St. Paul Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

River Falls will challenge Eau Claire North at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. St. Paul Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
