Softball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Cheney Blackhawks

Ridgeline is 0-6 against Cheney since April of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Falcons will host the Blackhawks at 5:00 p.m. Ridgeline is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Ridgeline heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Tuesday. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kennewick. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Izabella Hernandez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilley Triplett, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Cheney fell victim to Mt. Spokane and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-0.

Cheney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Ridgeline, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
