Soccer Recap: Wheeling Takes a Loss

Wheeling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Palatine Pirates, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Palatine this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 on April 10th.

Wheeling's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Palatine, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wheeling will welcome Buffalo Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palatine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rolling Meadows at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
