Basketball Recap: St. Clairsville Takes a Loss

St. Clairsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 47-16 loss at the hands of the Union Local Jets. The game marked the Red Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

St. Clairsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Union Local, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

St. Clairsville will square off against Martins Ferry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Local, they will challenge Barnesville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Union Local's defense has only allowed 30 points per game this season, so Barnesville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
