Baseball Recap: Marlette Comes Up Short

Marlette and Capac pushed the score to 17-3 the last time they played Capac, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Marlette's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Capac, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Marlette will head out to face off against Genesee Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Capac, they will square off against Ubly at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
