Soccer Recap: Greencastle-Antrim Comes Up Short

Greencastle-Antrim lost against Boiling Springs back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Bubblers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Greencastle-Antrim can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 388th, while Boiling Springs are ranked 26th).

This is the second loss in a row for Greencastle-Antrim and nudges their season record down to 2-9. As for Boiling Springs, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Greencastle-Antrim will take on rival West Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Boiling Springs is set to square off against their familiar foe Mifflin County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
