Basketball Recap: Foshay Wolverines vs. New West Charter Eagles
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foshay). They blew past the New West Charter Eagles 81-45 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Eagles back in December of 2024, they had to take a 61-54 loss.
Foshay was led to victory by Shomare' Gray and Peter Egwurube. Gray posted 29 points in addition to five assists and five boards, while Egwurube dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Egwurube is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 11 games he's played. Julian Chavez was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven boards and three steals.
